Warmly Celebrating full-line connection of the first natural gas long-distance pipeline between Ningxia and Inner Mongolia
The key long-distance pipeline projects in the 13th Five-Year Plan of National Natural Gas Development, the first inter-provincial natural gas pipeline project between Ningxia and Inner Mongolia and the major livelihood project in Ningxia and Inner Mongolia — the Inner Mongolia Hangjin Banner-Yinchuan natural gas pipeline, has been completed by Hanas Group within 2years with the vigorous support of the Party committees and the governments of Ningxia Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Yinchuan City and Ordos City and the active promotion of local governments along the line. Through approval of the whole line, intensive construction and connection for trial operation, it has become a vibrant green energy artery, bringing clean energy to thousands of families in Ningxia and Inner Mongolia along the line, and has made positive contributions to the construction of beautiful new Ningxia and bright Inner Mongolia.
The project is designed to deliver 2.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year, with a total pipeline length of 282 kilometers. It passes through Hangjin Banner and Etuoke Banner in Inner Mongolia, Pingluo County and Helan County of Shizuishan City in Ningxia“ and Xingqing District of Yinchuan City in Ningxia, and is connected to the city gas high pressure pipe network and natural gas thermal power plant.
After its completion, the project will not only enable the users along the pipeline in Inner Mongolia to use clean energy, but also change the single pattern of natural gas supply in Ningxia and realize the diversification of natural gas sources with more abundant, safe and efficient natural gas supply. It is an important energy link to realize the interconnection of interprovincial energy infrastructure and promote the coordinated development of regional economy. It also provides strong support for improving Ningxia’s economic system of green and low-carbon cycle development, ensuring clean energy supply in Yinchuan metropolitan area, and fighting the key battle of pollution prevention and control.
Starting from 2019, Hanas Group will rely on sufficient natural gas resources to build three matched branches from Yinchuan to Shizuishan, Yinchuan to Wuzhong and so on. At that time, It will form an interconnected local natural gas transmission and distribution network, covering Yinchuan, Shizuishan and Wuzhong and making due contributions to the high-quality development of Ningxia’s economy.
