Autonomous region leadership meet with Denmark Minister-counsellor, Vestas Delegation and Hanas Group
On October 14th afternoon, Zhang Chaochao, Executive Vice President of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Xu Ning, Deputy Secretary-General of Autonomous Region and other leaders met with Lars Bo Larsen, vice ambassador of Denmark, Juan Araluce y Martinez de Azagra, EVP sales of Vestas，Marika Fredriksson, EVP sales of Vestas and their delegation, Zhang Daoyang, President of China Development Bank in Ningxia, Hua Zhimin, Secretary of Yanchi County Party Committee, Dai Peiji, Magistrate of Yanchi County Government and Ma Fuqiang, CEO of Hanas Group.
At the beginning, on behalf of Autonomous Region Party Committee and Ningxia government, Zhang Chaochao welcomed Denmark delegation for their visit and promotion on cooperation among enterprises, and followed a brief statement of economic and social progress of Ningxia. He stated, Ningxia has been opening-up in recent years and actively incorporated into the strategy of One Belt One Road. In the meanwhile, thanks to the unique resource superiority， Ningxia has been more and more attractive to both domestic and foreign investors. As early as 2009, Vestas and Hanas has started cooperative relations. We hoped there would be more Denmark enterprises in Ningxia for investment purpose by support from Mr. Larsen and his team and we would provide high-quality service and sound investment climate as always. And also, we hoped Vestas to deepen cooperations with Hanas or other local companies and provide us with more technic service and solutions on system operation, for the sake of general development of wind power industry in Ningxia.
Mr. Larsen highly praised that Ningxia had had an incredible run of success over the last years. He said Vestas ranked top ten on the list of Denmark enterprises and was also leading the way of world wind power industry. At the same time, as the first demonstration region domestically, Ningxia had massive demand for turbines, thus I have faith in our cooperation. Denmark government would further expand investments in Ningxia and contribute to the development of green power in Ningxia for win-win.
