Advanced training for CCHP technicians

Technical personnel employed at Hanas Thermo-Electric plants are required to have a minimum of three years experience working in a power plant. In December 2013, employees of the Hanas combined cooling heating and power (CCHP) plants, were given practical training on the specific gas turbine equipment installed in the Yinchuan plants.

31 employees of the CCHP business department travelled to similar power plants in Jiangsu province. They attended training and studied theory, practiced simulation, and operations over a period of 45 days.

In 2014, the second phase plants in the Eastern and Western Thermo-Electric plants in Yinchuan will successively commence operation. Both plants have installed the SGT5—2000E (V94.2) type fuel gas marine engine unit from the international renowned Siemens company. The SGT5-2000E has a proven record for toughness and durability. More than 380 operating units have delivered an aggregate of over 16 million operating hours.

The familiarisation and training consisted of proficiency in a comprehensive range of policies and practices, operations, safety, electrical engineering and simulator system control.
