Mr. Ma Fuqiang is Chairman of Hanas Group. He is responsible for Hanas Group’s overall development direction and strategic planning, and directs the Group’s business operation, management and brand promotion.

In early 1990s, Mr. Ma founded Master Group with a focus on clean energy and natural products and gradually developed it into a large conglomerate with new energy and real estate as its core business. In 1999, Mr. Ma co-founded Yinchuan Natural Gas Corporation which has grown into one of the largest city gas operators in West China.

A man of vision, innovation and entrepreneurship, Mr. Ma has seen the great future of clean and renewable energy. Based on the successful city gas business in Yinchuan, Mr. Ma founded Hanas Group in 2003 and has developed it into one of China’s largest energy conglomerates.

Mr. Ma Fuqiang takes an active role in the social and economic developments of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Yinchuan City. He was elected member of People’s Congress and member of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference for both Ningxia and Yinchuan for a few times. He was appointed “Economic Development Consultant” by Yinchuan Municipal People’s Government, and has won a number of honorable titles including “Model Worker of Ningxia”. Mr. Ma Fuqiang is executive director of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Ethnic Affairs Committee, and also serves as director of China Business Council, director of China Gas Association and Vice President of Ningxia Federation of Industry and Commerce.

Between 2002 and 2004, he studied at Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management and obtained his Master Degree in Business Administration.
