Mr. Du Yanzhong was one of key founding members of Hanas Group back in 2003. He is currently Vice President of Hanas Group, responsible for the group’s human resources as well as the import LNG terminal in Zhuhai.

After working for Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region’s Planning Commission (predecessor of today’s Development and Reform Commission) for many years, Du became chairman of Yinchuan Natural Gas Corporation. Upon the founding of Hanas Group, Du worked in the capacity of chairman of Ningxia Hanas Natural Gas Company Ltd. Over the years, he led key Hanas projects of Yinchuan’s city gas and heating network, Hanas LNG factory, East Thermal Power Plant and West Thermal Power Plant. He was successively in charge of city gas in Yinchuan, two thermal power plants and the operation of Hanas Shanghai office. As of 2013, Mr. Du leads his team working on the ground along China’s southeast coastline, facilitating the planning and construction of import LNG terminals.

Mr. Du Yanzhong graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology in 1977 and obtained his Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering.
